Likratchem- A Step Forward for All

This program prepares youth in the 11th and 12th grades for meaningful post-high school service in separate gender groups. It offers clear, valuable information about the diverse options for service, so that all participants can make educated decisions at stages in their lives that are crucial for their connection to Israeli society. The sessions are held in fixed groups of up to 20 youth, with a mentor who guides them throughout the process. The content is tailored for the specific target audience, based on a conversation held with the social coordinator. The girls always have a female mentor, and the boys have a male mentor, in order to facilitate a beneficial process that is well-suited to the actual screening processes in the army and the different experiences of young men and young women in the IDF.

In addition to the group sessions, an information hotline is available for any specific questions the participants may have. The hotline provides information and assistance related to upcoming army service, helps its participants interact with the national service organizations, preparatory programs, and academic programs for high school graduates, and supports personal support and consultations throughout the process.
