Accessibility Statement

Introduction

Today, the internet is the largest repository of freely available information for all users, and for users with disabilities in particular. As such, we place great importance on giving people with disabilities equal access to the information presented on the website, and on providing a better browsing experience.

We strive to ensure that our digital services are accessible to people with disabilities. We have therefore invested considerable resources in making the website as easy as possible to use for people with disabilities, in the belief that every person deserves to live with equality, dignity, comfort and independence.

To fulfil this commitment, we strive to adhere as closely as possible to the recommendations of Israeli Standard IS 5568 for web content accessibility at Level AA, and to the international WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

How does accessibility work on the website?

The website features an accessibility menu provided by the web accessibility company Nagish BeClick. Clicking the accessibility button opens a menu containing the accessibility options. After selecting an option from the menu, please wait for the page to load.

The software works in popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera. Responsibility for the use and implementation of the software on the website lies with the website owner and/or anyone acting on its behalf, including the content displayed on the website, subject to the limitations and terms of use of the software.

Accessibility options in the menu:

  • Keyboard navigation – enables navigating the website using the keyboard
  • Screen reader support – adapts the website for assistive technologies such as NVDA and JAWS
  • Blocking flashing – stops moving elements and blocks flashing content
  • Increasing the website font to 4 different sizes
  • Contrast adjustments – changing the website’s color contrast
  • Adapting the website for color-blind users
  • Changing the font to a more readable one
  • Enlarging the cursor and changing its color to black or white
  • Zooming the display to approximately 200%
  • Highlighting links on the website
  • Highlighting headings on the website
  • Displaying alternative text for images
  • Accessibility statement
  • Sending accessibility feedback

Use of third-party components and websites

When third-party components or websites are used on the website, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, external chats and others that are not under our control, this may pose challenges for people with disabilities that we are unable to fix.

Below are some examples of accessibility policies on third-party websites:
